Mercedes-Benz has recorded its peak monthly sales in July this year (2010).
The company declared July as its 'largest-ever-month' of sales during its 15-year long history in the Indian market.
Luxury car manufacturer sold around 521 units during the last month recorded an increase of 80%as compared to the same period of last year.
PayPal Restores E-Withdrawal Service For Indian Customers

In a big respite to hordes of PayPal users in the country, the top Online Money Transfer company has declared that they can continue to have the benefit of electronic withdrawals to their banking accounts as they managed earlier.
Previously, PayPal made announcement that it would discontinue the electronic withdrawal service to Indian bank account w. e. f. August 1, 2010.
Kingfisher Commences Delhi-Ludhiana Flight

Kingfisher Airlines has started a daily direct flight between the national capital and Ludhiana, Punjab.
According to company announcement, Kingfisher Airlines's budget arm, Kingfisher Red, would handle the functioning of the new service.
With the launching of the new service, Kingfisher turns out to be the only private air-carrier to provide Ludhiana service.
Bajaj Motorcycle July Sales Grow 66%

Bajaj Auto recorded an increase of 66%in its motorcycle sales to 2,79,781 units during the last month (July 2010).
India's second biggest two-wheeler maker had sold 1,68,163 units during July 2009.
In July 2010, Bajaj Auto exports increased by 56%to 1,06,794 units as against 68,585 units in July last year (2009).
More Banks Raise Depository Rates

More banking institutions announced that they are lifting up rates of interest on fixed deposits (FDs) after the surge in key policy rates by the central bank of India.
On July 30, Bank of Baroda and Kotak Mahindra Bank declared that they are raising depository rates.
With credit growth growing, banking institutions are intensifying their deposit mobilization with the aim to lift up resources.
Foxconn Poisons 250 Indian Staff

Foxconn has unintentionally poisoned 250 Indian employees following a pesticide spray at its facility in Chennai.
The incident caused all 250 individuals, around half of the staff, being hospitalized, complaining of dizziness and vomiting.
Even though most of them were released after cure, 28 of the hospitalized staff were kept under observation.
Reliance Infra Q1 Net Up 6%

Samsung Electronics has strengthened its LED TV array in the Indian market after rolling out two LED TV models with screen sizes of 22" and 26" respectively.
These fresh models have been introduced across Series 4000 and Series 5000 of Full HD LED televisions, to match the subsisting 2010 array of Series 6200 and Series 6900 LED televisions.
Berger Paints All Set To Buy Speciality Paint Company

According to a top company representative, Kolkata-based Berger Paints India is making discussions to get hold of a specialty paint company.
On the sidelines of the company's annual general meeting (AGM), Chairman K. S. Dhingra said, "The board will discuss the offer... the deal is still at a preliminary stage and due-diligence is yet to start."
Bata India Q4 Net Up 40.7% at Rs 25.90 Crore

Bata India recorded an increase of 40.7% in its net profit, which stood at Rs 25.90 crore during April-June quarter.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 18.34 crore during the same period of last financial year.
The net sales of the shoemaker increased by 13.4% to Rs 350.1 crore during the second quarter of the existing fiscal as against Rs 308.6 crore in the same period of last year.
